
Author Guideline
- ECUALL Journal accepts unpublished or under consideration articles on English language teaching and learning, linguistics, and literature.
- Manuscripts should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words in length, typed in MS Word doc. format, double-spaced on quarto or A4 paper.
- Articles will be reviewed by subject reviewers, and the editors reserve the right to edit articles for format consistency without changing the content.
- ALL CAPITALS, BOLD, LEFT JUSTIFICATION are used for level one headings (like this example)
- Capital-lowercase, bold, left justification is used for level two headings.
- Level three headings are typed in capitals-lowercase, italics-bold, and left justification.
- Conceptual articles should: (a) Title; (b) Full name of contributor(s) without title(s); (c) Abstract (max. 100 words); (d) Keywords; (e) Introduction without heading; (f) Body text; and (g) References should be included in conceptual articles.
- Research-based articles should include: (a) a title; (b) the full name of the contributor(s) without the title(s); (c) an abstract (max. 200 words); (d) keywords; and (e) an introduction without a heading that includes a review of related literature and the purpose of the research. (f) Method; (g) Results and Discussion; (h) Conclusions and Suggestions; I References; and, if applicable, an appendix.
- The introduction is free of headings and includes a review of related literature as well as the research purpose in essay format.
- Only references cited or referred to in the article are included in the reference list.
- The references should be organized alphabetically and chronologically and written in APA format.
- Manuscripts, as well as a brief CV for each contributor, and a selection of items to be included in the subject index (about 20 items) should be attached to the submission.
- An article contributor is entitled to two hard copies of the issue in which the article appears, as well as two offprint copies.
- Please keep in mind that ECUALL Journal does not charge authors any fees for article submission, processing, or publication.
